Who are Fitness Instructors?

Our instructors are service leaders in Impact Athetics’s exercise areas. They perform fitness assessments, design basic exercise prescriptions, and provide assistance to members.

  • Most of our instructors have degrees and/or are certified with The American Council on Exercise, The American College of Sports Medicine or The National Strength and Conditioning Association. Any who are not are in training for certification. Instructors are not allowed to begin without completion of our own in-house training program and practical exam.
  • You will see fitness instructors monitoring the fitness floor, assisting members, cleaning and maintaining our equipment.  They may approach you from time to time to offer tips on improving your training technique. We’re always looking for ways to help!
  • Please feel free to ask a fitness instructor for assistance at any time. If for some reason you cannot find one available, pick up the courtesy phone at the fitness desk and dial 0 for assistance.
