Impact Athletics Mens & Womens Gymnastics
We continue to strive to provide gymnast and their parents a safe place of highly competitive training. All members of our senior coaching staff are professional members of USA Gymnastics and are Safety Certified. We pride ourselves in helping each gymnast obtain their individual goals. All while building character and confidence through our outstanding knowledge of coaching our ever changing sport of Competitive Gymnastics. Cindy Cotten Director of Competitive/Team Gymnastics
Cindy was born in Heidelberg, Germany but lived in Sanford, NC since she was 3 years old. She relocated to Wake County in May of 2003.
Mrs. Cindy Cotten is married to Robert Cotten and they have three children. Her son Cole is a senior at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. She has two daughters, Danielle attends Miller-Motte College, in Cary, NC and Krystle is a 8th grader at Reedy Creek Middle School.
Cindy has always worked with children either academically and /or physically. She has been coaching gymnastics for over 26 years working with children of all ages preschool through level 10.
Cindy has been an active member of NAWGJ (National Association of Women’s Gymnastics Judges) since 1998. She is currently a level 10 Judge and helps coach the girl’s competitive team.
Cindy believes in duplicating herself. She says, “Keeping my knowledge and talents to myself will not benefit anyone in the future. I know we are on this Earth for a short time and while I am here I’d like to make an Impact in the lives of others."
Cindy’s motto is: “Do what you like; like what you do”.
