Member Privledges

The management of Impact Athletics & Fitness Center has created the following policies to provide a safe, comfortable, and healthy environment for members, guests and employees. The policies listed below are those most asked about.

 

NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES OR DRUGS are allowed on premises.


ATTIRE
 IMPACT ATHLETICS & FITNESS CENTER chief objective is to be a comfortable, classy and safe place. We ask all members to dress respectfully, with no jeans, thongs, or overly revealing attire in all exercise areas. Closed-toed athletic shoes are required in the fitness center. Shirts and shoes must be worn at all times inside the club.


CLUB HOURS are subject to change with or without notice. The management reserves the right to close the center from time to time for holidays, weather-related emergencies or for any unforeseen reason deemed appropriate by the manager on duty.


CHILD CARE services are free for members; 2 hr limit, age restrictions apply.


CHILDREN UNDER 14 must be accompanied by an adult at all times unless they are checked into a program or are in a youth designated area such as class or youth activities. Parents who leave their children will be contacted and asked to pick these children up.

 

CHILDREN UNDER 14 may not use the adult locker rooms unless they are in route to an aquatics program or lap swim session. We have designated youth restrooms near the Youth Fitness Center.

 

FOOD AND BEVERAGES from outside the premises are not allowed (except for approved snacks in KidzTown). Please keep food and beverages in our café seating area.  We DO NOT allow food and beverages on the practice floors, in group/multi purpose training rooms. Please deposit trash in receptacles after use.

 

GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP during games is required by children and adults at Impact Athletics. Management will have a zero tolerance policy against rude behavior and will enforce immediate removal of guests or members who use vulgar language or abusive behavior during any of our sports activities.  Please encourage good examples for our children.

 

GUEST PRIVILEGES  Impact Athletics  & Fitness Center is a private club, which protects the privileges of members by requiring that all guests be approved before entering the facility. Guests under 14 years old must be signed in by an adult at the Front Desk each time they visit. An adult must accompany children under 14 years old. (See our guest regulations.)

 

LOST AND FOUND Should you accidentally leave your belongings at the center, please immediately report your loss to the reception desk. We will keep lost and found items up to two weeks before donating them to Salvation Army. The center cannot be held responsible for items that are lost or stolen.

 

MEMBERSHIP ACCOUNT CHARGING PRIVILEGES  For convenience, all approved adult members may charge purchases of services and merchandise at the center by signing a charge receipt. These charges will be added to your monthly dues EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer).  If additional charges are made a statement of charges will be sent out prior to EFT transaction at month end. Please call our business office direct at (919) IMPACT-1 if you have any questions. 

NON-MEMBER SPORTS PARTICIPANTS AND SPECTATORS may attend league games, tournaments and practices via our Sports Entrance (east side of the center). These individuals must check in at our Sports Desk and are not permitted use of the fitness and wellness center.

 

ON-LINE REGISTRATION Members have the benefit of signing up for programs on-line, through our web site, www.impactathleticsnc.com and receive discounts on all programs if have family type membership.

THE ADULT FITNESS CENTER is for adults only. Ages 13 and older may train if they have passed our Adult Fitness Orientation and have a designed program approved by a fitness instructor.


VALUABLE AND PERSONAL PROPERTY should not be brought onto premises. Impact Athletics & Fitness Center, its affiliates, agents, or employees will no be liable for any direct or indirect loss, theft, or damage to any property brought onto club premises. Personal items should be locked in lockers at all times.

 

MANAGEMENT shall have the right to suspend or withdraw club privileges from any member or guest who, in management’s opinion, has abused privileges or conducts himself or herself in a manner detrimental to the club, its members, or its employees. Such expulsion shall become effective immediately.

 

PETS are not permitted on premises.

 

SMOKING or use of other tobacco products is not permitted anywhere on club premises.
